Tim Curry was truly one of the greatest actors to ever grace the screen. Whether he was terrifying us as Pennywise in IT, giving nightmares as the Lord of Darkness in Legend, serving pure animated villainy as Hexxus in FernGully, or scheming in The Three Musketeers and Home Alone 2, he made bad guys an absolute joy to watch. He showed incredible range whether he was strutting across the stage in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, stealing scenes in Annie, or sprinting through the comedic perfection of Wadsworth in Clue. Across every genre, he brought an unmatched theatrical flair, charm, and brilliance to every single role. This scene from Muppet Treasure Island perfectly showcases why he was so special. His absolute, straight-faced commitment to the melodrama makes me chuckle every single time. Rest in peace to a true LEGEND!
