Series 3 is here... and Red Dwarf wastes absolutely no time throwing us into one of its most creative concepts yet! When a routine flight goes spectacularly wrong, the crew finds themselves on a version of Earth where everything happens backwards. From conversations and everyday life to crime, food, and even bar fights, the rules of this world completely turned our brains inside out. This episode also marks the return of Kryten as a permanent member of the crew, and we loved seeing how naturally he fits into the group. Between his logical thinking, Rimmer's complete acceptance of this bizarre new world, Lister trying to make sense of it all, and Cat... well, just being Cat... this episode delivered some big laughs. Red Dwarf has always been brilliant at mixing clever science fiction with ridiculous comedy, and "Backwards" might be one of the best examples of that we've seen yet.
