This is a lesson for beginner & intermediate mandolin players on how to play the great Bill Monroe Bluegrass tune 'Scotland'. He wrote this in honour of his Scottish heritage - you can't have a much more Scottish sounding name than 'Monroe' - and is meant to be a Bluegrass twist on Bagpipes playing in the highlands. We'll break the tune into it's 3 different sections and then have a full jam through at the end where I will add in the 'twin' mandolin part that takes this tune to the next level.
