When the world feels like it’s coming apart, fear can convince us that the story is already over. What did Jesus tell His followers to remember when frightening things began to happen? In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks about upheaval, deception, and His return. Alongside His warnings, He gives this assurance: “See that you aren’t troubled … the end is not yet.” In “This Is Not the End,” TraLon Hogan explores three responses to fear: • Let God determine the ending. • Be discerning about who you believe. • Live ready for Christ’s return. We also look at Jeremiah’s message to people far from home: God’s timetable was longer than they wanted, yet His faithfulness remained. His promise of renewal reached beyond their circumstances into their hearts. Then Noah gives us a picture of faith taking action. While he prepared the ark, God waited patiently. His example invites us to keep responding faithfully to what God has entrusted to us. Jesus’ words prepare us to face trouble with discernment, endurance, and hope. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will remain.
