Day 1: Camino de Santiago | Porto to Matosinhos | Portuguese Coastal Route (with Spiritual Variant)

September 4, 2026: Day 1. We begin our Camino de Santiago on the Portuguese Coastal Route, starting in Porto and walking to Matosinhos. Along the way we share the excitement of our first day, walk the coast, take in beautiful ocean views, meet fellow pilgrims, stop at XOXO for a break, get our first Camino stamp, and reflect on what the experience is already starting to mean to us. We finish the day in Matosinhos and check into the Four Points by Sheraton.
