🧟‍♂️ [4K] Decayed Brigade Slider Show at Midsummer Scream 👻

We caught the Decayed Brigade Slider Show at Midsummer Scream, and this performance was definitely for the girls! 💅🖤 These ladies brought SO much energy, attitude, athleticism, and seriously impressive tricks to the Hall of Shadows. From high-speed slides and jumps to acrobatics, spins, bends, and perfectly timed stunts, this performance had us cheering from beginning to end! If you’ve never seen a slider show before, you are seriously missing out. Sliding has its roots in Knott’s Scary Farm, where monsters began developing sliding as a unique way to scare guests. What started as a scare tactic eventually evolved into a highly athletic form of Halloween entertainment featuring jumps, tricks, choreography, and incredible feats of timing and coordination. (Los Angeles Times) The Decayed Brigade was formed after Knott’s Scary Farm veteran Gary “Spaz” Davis was asked in 2013 to help train a group of inexperienced sliders for a new haunt event. The group, originally known as the “Scream Team,” surprised everyone with how much guests loved their performance. They were invited back the following year, and that’s when the Decayed Brigade was officially formed. (Decayed Brigade) Since then, the Decayed Brigade has become known as a Southern California team of highly skilled sliders, bringing their unique combination of horror, comedy, athletic stunts, and theatrical performance to events including Midsummer Scream. Their shows have continued to evolve from traditional sliding demonstrations into full-on choreographed performances with flips, spins, long jumps, balancing tricks, limbo-style moves, and sliders coming from multiple directions. (Restcoaster) And this Midsummer Scream performance was SO much fun! The female sliders absolutely crushed it, showing off some incredible tricks while bringing a huge amount of personality and energy to the runway. 👏🔥 It’s one thing to watch someone slide across the floor, but seeing these performers coordinate jumps, slides, tricks, and stunts at high speed makes you realize just how much practice and athletic ability goes into these performances. Midsummer Scream features the Decayed Brigade inside the Hall of Shadows, where the team demonstrates the art of sliding for horror and Halloween fans. Midsummer Scream describes sliding as a scare tactic developed decades ago by monsters roaming Ghost Town at Knott’s Scary Farm, and the Brigade continues that tradition with high-energy demonstrations that push the limits of athleticism and gravity. (Midsummer Scream) If you’re a fan of Midsummer Scream, Halloween conventions, Southern California Halloween events, Knott’s Scary Farm, haunted attractions, scare actors, horror entertainment, or just REALLY cool stunt performances, this is definitely something you need to see in person! 👻 Have you ever watched a Decayed Brigade slider show? 🔥 Which trick was your favorite? 💀 Would you be brave enough to try sliding?
