Hello there! Welcome to BBT - Best Budget Trip channel. In this video, we went for a day trip to Neyyar which is close to Trivandrum, Kerala and ideal spot closer from Tirunelveli, TamilNadu. It is open to visitors from 9 AM to 4 PM except on Mondays. We started the road trip in the morning from Tirunelveli and reached to Neyyar in 3 hours including couple of stopovers. Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thiruvananthapuram is a thrilling place to enjoy lion safari by the Western Ghats. It houses a crocodile farm, a rehabilitation centre for elephants and an array of wildlife species along with lions and deers. Please note there are no lions at present and van safari is closed, kindly enquire the office directly before plans. The Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary ticket rate for the safari is ₹250 per person for adults and ₹125 per person for children (5 to 12 years). The fee is only ₹5 for kids below 5 years. And for foreign tourists, it’s ₹300 per person.
