Chama Game Lodge - We Arrived as Guests, We Left as Family! Ep 762

Sometimes the best travel experiences are the ones where you simply slow down, switch off and enjoy being in the bush. 🌿❤️ We were invited to spend a night at Chama Game Lodge near Hectorspruit, and from the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be something special. From the beautiful gardens, dam and peaceful surroundings to a spectacular home-cooked dinner around the fire, wonderful hospitality and plenty of laughs, we quickly felt less like guests and more like part of the family. 🔥🍽️ We also explored the reserve, discovered its incredible birdlife and wildlife, learned fascinating bushveld stories from Richard, and then I took on a challenge I hadn't attempted in nearly 40 years, getting back on a horse! 🐎😂 But perhaps the most special part was simply the tranquillity: walking through the bush, hearing nothing but horse hooves and birds, enjoying a quiet breakfast and having nowhere else we needed to be.
