I spend my days delivering goods across China and my nights sleeping across two seats in my little electric truck.
Today, I take you along for a delivery, share how I ended up doing this job, and finish work early enough to look around a supermarket.
I wanted to buy socks, a pair of shoes, and a frying pan. But whenever I see a price tag, I start calculating how many deliveries it would take to earn that money. In the end, I leave with just tomatoes and eggs—seven yuan, about one US dollar.
Back at the truck, I cook dinner and read your comments. Some of you think I have a whole team filming these videos. Most of the time, it is just me, my truck, and a camera.
I still have about a year left on the truck loan. When it is paid off, I hope to slow down and finally enjoy some of the places I have spent years driving past.
Thank you for watching and keeping me company. And to everyone who has sent a tip or supported my videos, thank you. It means more to me than I know how to say.
