Melting Stainless Steel in the Microwave

In this video, I wanted to try to melt some stainless steel by using my microwave. I knew I could melt it, but I wanted to try to cast something. That something turned out to be a ring. Even though the final result was not perfect, I can see that the method works, so I’ll be exploring more stainless steel melting projects in the near future. It’s amazing what an ordinary 900w microwave can do. Open Source Ring: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:358031 STF on Patreon:   / shakethefuture
