DREAD AREA by Ashrount vs. 打打だいず (INS 11 | EX+ 9.977M) - arcaea v7.0

Recorded & edited on september 5th, 2026 For a day's work I actually love how this turned out. All video elements, except for the description, were made in that timeframe. So any extra ideas I had next morning (which is right now) don't make the final cut. But yea I let myself get silly with it :P Tell you the truth this song hasn't been able to get out my head since v7.0 released. I had ideas to edit a video out of me playing it earlier... yet I thought they'd go away aaaand well they didn't. I don't think I've gone a day without the song crossing my mind once LOL i've been singing it too much. Thank god i finally managed to wake up earlier for once As for the gameplay I think that this is an easier level 11. The 4-holds are not that scary to me, but you'd probably find them difficult if you're not used to cross-handing thumb & index at once. I've also found it easy to learn, but not easy to score. I'd gotten to EX/EX+ score VERY easily, only in a few plays. But sometimes I'll just miss in a bunch of random, scattered places or in a 5-second cluster, it's annoying. This is not the kind of song where you can fix TINY mistakes right away. I still score within the same range regardless. Charting is relatively similar to some songs, specifically "Judgement", "AMAZING MIGHTYYYY!!!!", and a ton of other level 10+/11s that mildly abuse notebursts and whatnot. If you have experience with those I can assure you this won't be so bad. Only parts I don't like are 0:38, and 1:31 (stilts arc). Maybe the arc slams a little. But it's all pretty damn addicting. I think even despite its shortcomings and my personal grudges I'm still able to see right past them. Especially with how irreplaceable this song is. DREAD AREA and Riven Pilgrimage have been my favorites out of the pack.
