So I played Subnautica for the first time and was not prepared for how terrifying this game can be. From getting hunted down by reaper leviathans to my newly developed fear of the ocean, it's clear Subnautica is one of the most heart racing horror games ever made. However never is it stated with game has anything to do with the horror genre so today I will be answering the question as to what makes Subnautica so scary. Game Description: Subnautica is a survival action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a first-person perspective. The player controls one of the few survivors of the crashed spacecraft known as The Aurora, Ryley Robinson, as he is stranded on a remote ocean planet known as 4546B.
