You have been told your whole life that you need someone standing between you and God. It is the oldest arrangement in the world, and it survived because it keeps getting renamed. There is a story that plays out in every civilization, and it is older than any religion we argue about now. In Greek mythology, time was Kronos, the titan who devoured his own children, and his first instrument was judgment. The Olympian gods used humanity as their muse and their entertainment, and today’s elites use the masses as muses while building power on the belief that they are above the rest. Follow that pattern from polytheism to monotheism, gods becoming kings and kings becoming gods, and you start to see what is happening in the world right now. Every cycle of unification sends a counterfeit in first, and this one is no different: a merger of Christianity and Judaism, a pairing of Christians and Muslims against the Zionists, every side waiting on a Messiah to rule the whole world. I also look at how the New Age got its roots with Madame Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley, brilliant people who opened the culture back up to the old gods under new names. The energies are not the problem. The counterfeit claiming the throne is.
Then I go to what Jesus taught into that world, and why it cost him so much. He spoke Aramaic, a breath-based language where the word for breath, Spirit, and wind were the same word. What he offered was not a doctrine to be administered by a priest class. It was a direct relationship, one to one, available through a full breath and nothing else. That is why he kept telling his disciples that a chosen one is still a middleman standing between people and God, and why the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD had to answer the Gnostics, who said out loud that the God being built into an institution was the false God. I close with the teacup and kintsugi: the vessel of your identity shatters when the ocean of Love moves through it, and the gold we use to mend it, to make ourselves worth more than the rest, is the oldest game there is. So breathe in your relationship with God, and give yourself permission to have it. Permission is the hardest part, and it has always been the only part that was yours.
Many blessings,
