Solo camping in the rain. 🌧️ Do I get lonely?

Solo camping in the rain. Do I get lonely? Join me for a rainy solo camping trip deep in the old growth forest of Paradise Creek Campground in Washington. Setting up camp in the sprinkling rain turned out to be the ultimate test, but turning my tent’s front door panel into a DIY awning was a total game changer for staying completely dry. This is an immersive, boots-on-the-ground camping experience with no music, no voiceover, and no drone footage—just the natural ASMR sounds of rain, the forest, and life inside the tent. I also share honest thoughts on a question I get asked all the time: Do I ever get lonely while solo camping? After pivoting dinner plans due to the weather, I cooked an easy backpacking meal inside the tent and tried to fall asleep to the sound of rain on the tent. The next morning brought fresh forest air, coffee, pancakes, and sausage—plus a sneak peek at Day 2!
