Morning Devotion for Today | Day 251 | "Your Integrity Will Cost You Something" | Genesis 39

Good morning and welcome to Morning Devotions! Today is Day 251, and we're still walking through the life of Joseph in Genesis 39. Word for the day: "Your integrity will cost you something." Joseph was sold into slavery, yet God was with him. He rose to run Potiphar's entire household, only to be tested when Potiphar's wife pursued him day after day. Joseph refused her, not just because it would betray his master's trust, but because he would not sin against God. That refusal cost him. He was falsely accused and thrown into prison for doing what was right. But even in prison, the Lord was with Joseph. Psalm 23 reminds us why: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." God's presence doesn't mean we avoid hardship. It means He walks us through it and makes us thrive on the other side. Whether you're the trusted manager or the forgotten prisoner, your character should never change. Stay true to yourself, true to others, and true to God, and know the Lord is with you no matter the circumstance. Your integrity will cost you something. Be ready to pay it.
