Can you get pregnant with PCOD/PCOS? Does having PCOD mean you are infertile? These are some of the biggest fears many women face after receiving a PCOD diagnosis — but PCOD does not automatically mean infertility. ❤️
In this video, we talk openly about PCOD, fertility, pregnancy, irregular periods and hormonal health, including the fear, anxiety and social stigma that can come with a PCOD diagnosis. Why is female fertility still such a taboo topic? And why are so many young women made to believe that PCOD means they will never be able to have children?
I also discuss natural lifestyle approaches for managing PCOD symptoms, healthy weight management, diet and exercise, and explain the popular seed cycling method for PCOS/PCOD — including flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. We’ll look at what seed cycling claims to do and why it’s important to separate popular wellness advice from established medical evidence.
We’ll cover questions such as: Can you conceive naturally with PCOD? Can women with PCOS have healthy pregnancies? Does PCOD cause infertility? Can PCOD symptoms improve with lifestyle changes? How does ovulation affect fertility? And what should you know before trying to conceive with PCOS?
If you or someone you know has recently been diagnosed with PCOD, this video is for you. A diagnosis should lead to better understanding and appropriate care — not fear or shame.
