How Quantum Loops Break Classical Closure Deep Dive podcast for the paper: Quantum Field Theory and Partial Closure A scalar model with classical relations and quantum limits Author: Lilien, Philip Version 3 We investigate whether partial closure can be given a precise mathematical role in a field theory. Closure is represented by a set of residual functions whose squared magnitudes define a potential. A light scalar doublet and a heavy scalar doublet provide an explicit model in which a discrete symmetry restricts the interactions. Eliminating the heavy field produces a sixth-order angular potential and derivative interactions. These lead to a conditional relation between four-particle and six-particle scattering at tree level. Quantum corrections show that the restricted closure Full paper (open access): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23462545 Channel: Roots of Reality | UCTE Foundation Contact: philip@ucte.foundation Created with NotebookLM.
