Official UK 100 climbs The Burway No97 / The Longmynd 2nd April 2015 - Strava KOM - cycling climbs

The Burway visit no2 and another fail :-( needed 2 stops, maybe next time I just do reps up the steep section to get my body ready for 20% effort for 10 mins. Anyway having had brain freeze and turned the camera off when I stopped to take scenery which would have given a better perspective of the job already completed. The Burway is 3060m long and you gain 290 height meters its a good test rated 9/10 in the 100 greatest cycling climbs book by Simon Warren. Its a great climb and you really never know when it finishes the summit just keeps on going away or well it seemed that way !! 19mins of pain for me including stops I sit a lofty 451 from the 1120 riders on strava top 50% pretty average effort then.   / strava   Mainly unedited footage & just started - snap shots of the ride/day ** Remember to hit the SUBSCRIBE button if you like for updates ** ?? Always start with the good British weather system (and how they always get it wrong :-) Early rain but light winds and a comfy 8° the sun came out about 3/4 of the way round :-) the GABBA fully opened up the hill You will see a lot of the Castelli Gabba 2 being fully tested (seeing as it cost so much :-) and TBF its been out every ride since I bought it, washes lovely and you just never feel cold "A must buy" It can only get better HA :-) Overlays with virb edit, info from Garmin 1000 and shot with Shimano CM1000 sports action camera (with a £2.89 bracket) Nothing serious just for fun, If you like all cool if not hey yOuTube has a billion uploaders to watch.
