Perfect in all His ways. This morning prayer is an invitation to turn our attention away from ourselves for a little while and toward the holiness of the God who has carried us through every year of life. 🕊️ IN THIS PRAYER, WE THANK GOD FOR 1. ANOTHER MORNING TO WORSHIP HIM Every new day gives us another opportunity to turn our hearts toward the Lord and honor His holy name. 2. HIS PERFECT HOLINESS God has never needed to become better. There has never been weakness, selfishness, injustice, or impurity in His character. 3. HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH In a world where human understanding is limited, we can rest in the God whose judgments are perfectly right and whose Word remains true. 4. THE WONDER OF ISAIAH’S VISION We remember Isaiah seeing the Lord high and lifted up while the seraphim cried, Holy, holy, holy. That vision draws our attention toward the majesty of the God heaven worships. 5. HOLINESS JOINED WITH MERCY God’s holiness does not make His mercy less beautiful. His compassion is perfectly righteous, and His forgiveness never requires Him to become less holy. 6. THE HOLINESS OF JESUS CHRIST We thank God for the sinless Savior whose life revealed perfect obedience, perfect love, and perfect righteousness. 7. THE PRIVILEGE OF STILL MARVELING AT GOD Growing older does not mean coming to the end of wonder. His righteousness has no corruption. His mercy is never unjust. His truth never changes.
