Paid Silence is a physical exploration of control, adaptation, and the moment a body begins to resist them. The work investigates the tension between self-control and being controlled. At its core is a body whose value is tied to functionality, discipline, and availability—and which risks losing that value the moment it withdraws from its assigned role. Oscillating between precise self-discipline and impulsive resistance, Paid Silence creates physical images that explore the relationship between the body, labour, and economic power.
