On April 11, 2012 at Convocation, North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Dr. K.P. Yohannan, the founder and president of Gospel for Asia, called Liberty University students to an unwavering commitment to Jesus while telling the story of his mother's faithful prayers. It was her years of praying and fasting that, Yohannan says, ungird the ministry he founded, which now reaches hundreds of thousands of people in the least reached places around the globe. Yohannan is the founder and international director of Gospel for Asia, a Christian mission organization that has brought the Good News of Christ to millions in South Asia over the last three decades. Dr. Yohannan is also a prolific writer with more than 200 books published in Asia and nine in the United States.
