Today we're hopping in the car and continuing our journey south along the Jersey Shore, starting at the northern end of Brigantine, New Jersey, and driving all the way to Longport! Along the way we'll travel through Brigantine, Atlantic City, Ventnor City, Margate City and Longport, covering Brigantine and the entire length of Absecon Island. This isn't just a drive! As we make our way south, I'll share some of the history, landmarks and character of each Jersey Shore town we pass through. 🏖️ BRIGANTINE — A quieter barrier-island beach community just north of Atlantic City. 🎰 ATLANTIC CITY — We drive through one of America's most famous seaside resort cities, home to the Atlantic City Boardwalk, casinos and more than 170 years of tourism history. 🌊 VENTNOR — Leaving the casino towers behind, the drive takes us into this beautiful residential beach community. 🐘 MARGATE — Home of the legendary Lucy the Elephant, one of the Jersey Shore's most recognizable landmarks. ☀️ LONGPORT — We finish today's journey at the quiet southern tip of Absecon Island, with Ocean City waiting just across the water!
