Porsche 992.2 GT3 Manual Review with the Weissach Package, driven on the Susten Pass in the Swiss Alps. Digital dash, more assist systems, plenty of criticism at launch. But performance-wise, this might be the best GT3 ever made. And you can still get it as a manual. When the 992.2 GT3 was revealed, most of the talk was about what changed: the analog rev counter is gone, the cockpit is fully digital now and there are more driver assistance systems on board. Fair points, and I get into all of it in this review. But after a day on one of the best mountain passes in Switzerland, I think a lot of people focused on the wrong things. The real story is the front axle. Porsche took it from the 992.1 GT3 RS, and you definitely feel it, especially on a road as tight and technical as the Susten. Add the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six and a six-speed manual, and on paper there's no better GT3 you can buy right now. Best GT3 ever, or does an older generation still hold the crown for you? Let me know in the comments.
