Christopher Robin is Saying His Prayers (Vespers) - Anne Stephens

...I continue to explore nostalgia from the time of BBC Radio's "Children's Favourites", or similar labels, from the 1950's onwards. Here, who couldn't be touched by Anne Stephens' voice: its at once endearing as a nine year-old child, and reminiscent of a "posh", yet rather delicate, English accent long gone - except perhaps in the case of the Queen and the wonderful Brian Sewell. Personally, I think it's a loss. I took some of these pics in Siena Cathedral, Tuscany. The rest I got from the Internet.
