Back to where it all started. Open House teamed up with Haus Head for a special night at Rabbit Hole, celebrating the artists who shaped their journeys in Southeast Michigan. [About YAO] YAO is a DJ and organizer who traces his musical origins to the Taipei underground and Michigan’s student party scene. YAO was among the ranks of student party organizers, hosting and performing at bars and venues in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. Though an avid house head, YAO frequently ventures beyond four-on-the-floor, never conforming to a singular genre. YAO founded Open House with the goal of returning music to its most essential function—bringing people together. He has hosted events and house parties across Chicago and New York City, focusing on intimate gatherings and stripping away the commercial barriers for up-and-coming talents who offer energetic and unique perspectives.
