Intern Spotlight: Nathan Wolski (RESESS) and Nicolas Hausner (Geo-Launchpad) | 2026 Interns

Nathan is a RESESS intern and a rising junior studying geology at the University of Illinois. This summer, he is working at New Mexico Tech, where he is using ambient noise tomography to image Earth’s crust in southeastern New Mexico. Nicolas is an intern in the Geo-Launchpad program. He recently graduated from the Community College of Denver and will be transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder this fall for his junior year. He is also at New Mexico Tech this summer, studying critical minerals at the Steeple Rock Mining District in New Mexico.
