Some childhood memories never fade. No matter how many years pass, certain places, sounds and feelings stay with us forever. ❤️ “Those Summer Days” is a nostalgic journey back to my childhood in Saudi Arabia, to a time when life felt wonderfully simple, the summers seemed endless, and happiness could be found in nothing more than sand beneath our feet and the freedom to explore. I remember heading out into the desert with my dad, leaving the city behind and venturing into a world of towering sand dunes, golden horizons and endless blue skies. There were no plans, no worries and no need to watch the clock. Just the excitement of climbing those enormous dunes, running down them as fast as our legs could carry us, tumbling into the soft sand and laughing until we couldn't laugh anymore. Back then, I didn't realise we were making memories that would stay with me for a lifetime. I was simply a child, living in the moment, completely unaware of how precious those days would one day become. As I grow older, life changes. The years pass, childhood slips away, and the places I once called my home from home become distant memories. But sometimes, all it takes is closing my eyes to find myself right back there. I can almost feel the heat of the desert sun, hear the laughter carried on the wind and remember the wonderful feeling of being young, carefree and surrounded by the people I love. “Those Summer Days” is my little tribute to those unforgettable childhood adventures, to my dad, to the beautiful Saudi Arabian desert and to a time in my life that I will always treasure. Because although I can never return to my childhood, that child will always live within me. ❤️ 🎶 “Just sand, just sky, just memory… And the child I used to be.” 💛 A little note about this song: I wrote the lyrics myself, inspired by my own childhood memories.
