GTA 6 map size comparison: we measured the fan-made Leonida map (State of Leonida, YANIS v16) against GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, San Andreas, GTA IV and Vice City, then checked city size, drive time and how it lays over real Florida. Rockstar has never shown a map of Leonida, so the whole thing is built by fans from trailer frames, leaked footage and real Miami addresses. Land area only, no ocean. Every number below is a snapshot from September 24, 2026 and will change with the next map version. Classic maps were measured from the community map overlays and rescaled to the independent land-area figures by KeWiS on GTAForums. City footprints and road routes are approximations, so treat them as ballpark numbers. IMPORTANT This is an unofficial, fan-made map and none of it comes from Rockstar. For context, Rockstar's Rob Nelson reportedly told previewers in August 2026 that the full map is roughly 2x GTA V and 3x Red Dead 2, and that Vice City is about twice the size of Los Santos (via Kotaku, below). This video measures the fan map, which may still change and may not match how Rockstar counts "size".
