UP 2572 leads the MEWOL Manifest Freight through Lydford and Harlingen

Originally I hoped to catch the Tuesday morning BRG Industrial Lead Switcher serving local customers in town, but I was unable to find it all morning. I decided to go north instead, and in the nick of time I ran into the BRG Mexican Transfer Freight leaving Olmito Yard for Matamoros! After watching that train go, I made my way further north to find the daily UP MEWOL Manifest Freight, and caught up with him in Lydford! After a fantastic high speed catch, I got the money shot of the train passing by the deadline of locomotives in Harlingen. Afterwards, I ended the chase to get some lunch at Wendy’s to celebrate. Unfortunately the euphoria would be short lived, as I would soon develop a nasty cold that would keep me home for a few days. Thankfully I’m doing a lot better now, and can finally bring this exciting video to you!
