The Greek Group of traditional dances called "Chorostates" participated in a performance which is a traditional cultural event in the city of Thessaloniki, taking place once a year, for charity purpose with the participation of four other groups. The event is called "We Dance for the Life". In 2015, it took place at the Ceremony Hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on February 28th. The group presented briefly a wending traditional custom and 8 dances from villages around Naousa area and specifically from the village of Episkopi. The dances are: “Syrtos”, “Nizamska”, “Roudo Giagne”, “Patrounino”, “Prava”, “Gaida”, “Giantsiska” and “Mitrena”. The teacher of the group, Mr. Apostolos Skrekas, was in charge of the whole performance.
