Duchess Meets the Queen of Norway 👑🇳🇴 | The State Visit | Duchess Episode 8

Today, Duchess has a state visit. From Norway: Her Majesty, Queen Frøya. A duchess is important. A queen is more important. Duchess has checked. Twice. So she does everything properly: the perfect curtsy, the velvet cushion. But the Queen is from the forest, she is very large, and she is in no hurry. She sits in a box. She rolls upside down. She chases the red dot like a kitten. In Norway, all of this is dignified, and Duchess's dignity meter climbs until it can't take any more. A calm, deadpan little cartoon for kids (about 4-10) and their grown-ups, with a gentle surprise at the end about what every grown-up lady cat is called. 0:00 This is Duchess 0:05 A state visit from Norway 0:26 Queen Frøya arrives 0:42 The Queen sits in a box 0:51 Upside down, and the red dot 1:08 Too much dignity 1:17 Uff da 1:31 She meant to do that 1:41 One last fact Music: the Duchess theme, plus a slow bassoon quote of Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
