Mighty Wings ⭐️ Top Gun 40th Anniversary

I FEEL THE NEED… FOR SPEED! ⚡️ 40 years of Top Gun? That’s wild. I may not have been born when the first one came out, but I still have so many amazing memories with these films and they’ve become comfort movies because of that, and just because they’re so much fun in general in my opinion 🤣 so I got inspired to make a video to celebrate it! At first, I was thinking of using another song, but I couldn’t get inspired for anything. So I went back to the soundtrack, and took on the challenge of this epic song: Mighty Wings! I’m quite happy with how this video turned out and it was so much fun to do! I’m glad I finished it on time lol I was worried I wouldn’t make it by today 😅 I focused a lot on the flying and showcasing the airplanes here, as you can see. This song is in some ways, but it’s not really character-driven. It’s more action packed and epic. So I tried to portray the excitement it makes me feel lol. I hope you guys enjoy! 😍✈️💪🌄🌌💨🖤 Shoutout to Light for chillin and helping me finish the last part of this thing 🩶 I don’t remember the first time I watched Top Gun exactly, but I remember my dad watching it and playing with my siblings and I with fighter jet toys and such over the years. The sole reason the F-14 was my favorite when I was young was because I liked how the wings went in and out 😆🤦🏼‍♀️ I think the first time I seriously watched the movie was when my brother turned it on during a sleepover with me and our friends. I loved it. The more times I watched it, the more I got attached to the characters and their stories, which is the point of no return when it comes to my fandoms 🤩😫🤣 if you can get me deeply attached to the characters with an intriguing story, I’m in. When the second one was announced, I was kinda like “really?” (And guess where I’m sitting now with certain statements…) But I was like “alright, the trailers look cool. It’ll at least be fun.” And low and behold, I was blown away 🤣 watching Maverick in 4DX with my dad and sister for the first time was such a blast. The theater experience is everything to me, and it was the best first impression. Having the wind and moving chairs etc just made it 10x more intense and crazy fun. I also went to my first Blue Angels show the following year, and they played a bunch of the soundtrack which I thought was hilarious. In general, these films made me a crazy aviation nerd.
