Curious whether debt recycling actually works? In this video, I walk through our family's debt recycling strategy using our real numbers from the past five years. I'll explain how we set it up, how it has performed, and what we've learned along the way. When we started our debt recycling strategy mortgage rates were very low. We spoke to our broker who suggested drawing out some equity so that we had more to invest. The plan was to then debt recycle. We debt recycled $50k but then interest rates went up so we didn't to then focus on paying off our mortgage.
