Welcome to The Dragon's Ember Inn & Tavern for 12 hours of medieval Celtic tavern music and misty forest ambience for studying, reading, writing, sleep, focus, relaxation, and D&D.
The road grows quiet where the forest begins.
Mist hangs between the pines, warm windows glow through the cool evening air, and an old stone bridge crosses the stream just before the village gives way entirely to the woods. At the center of it all stands The Dragon's Ember Inn & Tavern, a sprawling timber-and-stone refuge where lanterns remain lit long after most travelers have left the road behind.
Settle in for this continuous, non-looping, 100% instrumental livestream, perfect for:

Despite the name, nobody around here can prove a dragon ever visited the inn.
The story begins with a fire.
More than two centuries ago, a violent autumn storm swept through the valley. Lightning struck the original tavern during the night, and by morning little remained beyond wet timber, blackened stone, and the old hearth.
The keeper assumed everything had been lost.
Then he noticed a faint orange glow beneath the ash.
One coal was still burning.
It had survived the fire, the rain, and hours beneath the ruined roof without going cold.
A traveling blacksmith examined it and jokingly declared that ordinary fire could never have lasted through such a night.
“Must be a dragon's ember.”
The villagers rather liked that explanation.
When the inn was rebuilt, the new hearth was constructed around the stones of the old one. Every evening afterward, the keeper carefully preserved one glowing coal beneath the ash so it could kindle the following morning's fire.
His children continued the tradition.
Then their children.
Generations later, the last ember from each night's hearth is still kept until morning.
Whether any dragon was actually involved has become largely irrelevant.
The fire survived.
The tavern survived.
And travelers still know that when the mist rolls down from the forest, there will be a warm light waiting beside the road.
Welcome to The Dragon's Ember Inn & Tavern.
