LOUISVILLE ZOO CELEBRATES 61ST ADDAX CALF IN ITS 55 YEARS

The Louisville Zoo is thrilled to announce the birth of a female addax calf, born to Reesie and male addax, Winfield, on Friday, August 23. This birth marks the 61st addax to be born at the Louisville Zoo since opening in 1969! The addax is one of the most critically endangered animals in the world and at your Zoo. Guests can visit the addax in the African zone.
