Dame Joan Sutherland - Regnava nel silenzio, 1960 Proms

Joan Sutherland sings "Regnava nel silenzio" from the opera which made her famous: "Lucia di Lammermoor." This night's performance was Dame Sutherland's sixth appearance at the Proms, including one earlier that month (c.f. "Qui la voce" on my channel). Malcolm Sargent conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
