My Top 35 - Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (w/ my thoughts to each song)

It's that time again. A bit later than usual I present to you my ranking for the 35 songs that will compete in Vienna at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The semis start today (Tuesday, May 12th) and commence on Thursday. The final is as always on Saturday. Who will be the successor of JJ? As always this ranking is very personal matter of taste, so you probably don't will agree with me. We'll leave politics out of it but the countries that pulled out will certainly be missed this year! This year a new country that never has made my #1 so far captures the throne. The usual suspects are also there right at the top, while there is a lot of meh in it as well. Although the variety has risen again thankfully, there is more Rock and Guitar-driven songs which I prefer. And there is also for the first time in a long time a live instrument played on stage! DISCLAIMER: My taste and your taste will proably be different, so please accept mine as I do accept yours. If I rank a song lower than you then it's not because I don't like the country/nation or I'm bias against them it's just that I did not enjoy the song as much as you do. The ranking is solely based on the studio version of each song and my musical taste. But if you want you can point out why I should've ranked a certain song different in the comments and praise your favorite track. Who do you want to win?
