In this beginner-friendly Business Mathematics lesson, we explain positive, zero, negative and fractional exponents step by step.
You’ll learn:

• Why exponents are shortcuts for repeated multiplication
• How to multiply powers with the same base
• How to divide powers with the same base
• Why a power raised to another power multiplies the exponents
