Watch what this Freewing F-16 V2 90mm EDF RC jet is capable of when adjusted and flown with a rearwards, tail heavy CG and relying on the gyro to provide artificial stabilization! This configuration allows the model to fly more efficiently, reducing trim drag and to maneuver a lot more aggressively! Of course, without a gyro to help you out, the model would be unflyable when set up like this, just as the full scale F-16 that it is modeled after relies on FBW control suites! This setup allows the model to perform both precision and extreme aerial maneuvers at low altitude with relative ease! Subscribe for weekly rc airplane flight breakdowns, and tell us in the comments which jet model you want to see featured next! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the newer 8S, 90mm EDF, V2 version of the Freewing F-16 jet and it truly kicks ass when compared to the smaller versions on the market such as the FMS 80mm or FW/ FMS 70 and 64mm versions (IMO)... it has a lot more power and vertical performance, easier CG centering for an agile setup, more rudder authority for loaded roll maneuvers, more battery compartment space to install electronics and adjust battery size to your likings and just overall greater mojo compared to the competition! This jet appeared in the market just about the same time I ordered the FMS one (just after I pulled the trigger to be precise), so I didn't get it straight away, but after 62 flights with the FMS 80mm one I sold it to purchase the Freewing version, as I'm partial to larger jets and 90mm EDFs in general, and hell I am happy with the decision!! :DDD So far, the only things I've seen the FMS 80mm being better at is being a bit more floaty (lower wing loading) which made landings easier, and better knife edge flight, probably thanks to being lighter, too. Other than that, the new FW 90mm version reigns supreme in my opinion! (No, I'm not sponsored by anyone). Despite lacking a thrust vectoring nozzle, the Freewing F-16 V2 can pull some truly wicked post-stall maneuvers. With the FMS I kept telling myself...
