[ALS R151 987/988 - Joyride from CG Tanah Merah D/E to CG1 Expo] Date filmed: 2 October 2026 Time of recording: between 1947hrs to 1950hrs Towards: (3) Changi Airport Train Model: Alstom Movia R151 Train Run: 101 Depot of Origin: East Coast Integrated Depot (replacement) Final Destination Depot: East Coast Integrated Depot Carriage filmed at: 12987 door A4/B4 area (No. 2 end) AM/PM/Full Day: Full Day Service (replaced 935/936) This video features an Alstom Movia R151, trainset 987/988, which is from East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) to serve the Changi Airport Branch Line (CAL) for the remainder of the day [after replacing 935/936 into ECID in the late morning hours], from CG Tanah Merah to CG1 Expo stations, bound for CG2 Changi Airport. Trainset 987/988 was seen earlier on the mainline EWL as Train Run Number (TRN) 121 for the AM Rush Hours, which returned the train back into ECID. Shortly after that, Trainset 987/988 would proceed to replace Trainset 935/936 to run on CAL for the rest of the day. Nice to see a Batch 2 R151 replacing another Batch 2 R151 trainset on CAL, and for more Batch 2 R151s to run on CAL. Note that there seems to be new Temporary Speed Restrictions (TSR) placed near the now-decommissioned Changi Depot Transfer Berth 1 area. 📲 Follow me on socials!
