Tune - Wolvercote by William H. Ferguson. When Ferguson composed this tune he was organist at Lancing College in Sussex and this tune is very much in the tradition of public school worship. The spectacular change of key in the middle of this tune gives it a thrilling lift (and puts me into accidental panic). It's easy to imagine this tune being sung with gusto by young male voices in the school chapel.
