For Ahmed Naseem however, his passion for creating scale models of sail boats involves taking a deeper look into the maritime history of the Maldives. Hailing from Shaviyani Feevah, Ahmed strives to recreate every possible little detail ranging from the intricate equipment used onboard, to the shape and size of the stern, and everything in between. Taking sound advice from his mentor, he is keen on showcasing how our ancestors used to traverse this island nation, through the art of scale modeling.
