Shadowrun: Dragonfall | 36 | Return to Harfeld Manor pt 2

Shadowrun: Dragonfall was originally released as an expansion to Harebrained Scheme's 2013 Shadowrun Returns. For this LP I will be playing the Director's Cut, a standalone release of the campaign that adds new content and enhancements such as five additional missions, alternate endings, new music, a redesigned interface, team customization options, a revamped combat system, and more. Paradox interactive, the publisher, describes it as the definitive version of this one-of-a-kind cyberpunk RPG experience. If you have the original Dragonfall - good news, you should already have the director's cut available to you. Like my time with Shadowrun Returns (   • Shadowrun Returns: Dead Man's Switch  ) which I completed in 2024, this is going to be a first time playthrough of the story. While I generally am competent in squad based tactics style games, I don't anticipate this will be a flawless playthrough. However, if you're ready to reenter the world of 2054, where magic has returned, unchecked techonological advances have blurred the lines between humanity and the machines, trolls, elves, dwarves, and orks walk among us, and greedy mega-corps bleed the planet and the populace dry. Power is ephemeral here, and having the right connections can mean the difference between success and starvation in a city where almost anything goes. For those of us who run the shadows though, there's plenty of quick pay-days to be had (so long as your Johnson doesn't stab you in the back). However, there are rumors that the Great Dragon Feuerschwinge might still be alive, ready to resume the reign of terror that now is only a distant memory in the minds of the citizens...
