HIS WIFE WAS TAKEN BY PHARAOH - THEN HE GOT RICH | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag walks through Genesis 12: Abraham tells Sarah to say she's his sister, and she still gets taken into Pharaoh's house. It looks like the worst possible turn - until Abraham walks out with sheep, oxen, camels, and servants, and Pharaoh sends him away richer than he came. He ties it to Romans 8:28, 'all things work together for good,' and points out that the wealth we see in the next chapter only exists because of this crisis. Whatever looks like a setback in your life right now, he says, can be the very thing God uses to make you rich.
