Wings Over Wayne Airshow 2023, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base

What an amazing experience last weekend at the Wings Over Wayne 2023 Airshow at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro North Carolina! Surprisingly this was actually my first major airshow I’ve been to that included fighter jets, large military aircraft, and the Blue Angels! The Wings Over Wayne Airshow is one of the only airshows held in North Carolina every other year, the last airshow was in 2021 and the next one will be in 2025. It is always held at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro NC. This year the Airshow was held the weekend of May 20-21. The weather ended up turning out great but unfortunately the F22 was not able to do it’s complete performance due to technical difficulties with the aircraft, but all the other aircraft were able to perform their full routines! Also on display on the tarmac was a C5 Galaxy, C17, C130, B52, KC46, and many other military aircraft and fighter jets! I’m so glad to have been able to get to experience my first major Airshow and I’m looking forward to the next Wings Over Wayne in 2025 😉 I hope you enjoyed this video!
