A MASSIVE New Halo 2 Mod Is In The Works... | Halo 2: Reforged - Cairo Station

Halo 2 is getting a brand new fan-made overhaul, and this time it's being rebuilt from the ground up. Halo 2: Reforged, previously known as Halo 2: What If?, aims to reimagine the entire Halo 2 campaign with new and restored content, cut weapons and vehicles, redesigned characters, new encounters, environmental changes, and ideas inspired by some of Halo 2's earlier builds. For this video, we're checking out the currently released version of Cairo Station, which gives us an early look at what this project is aiming to become. Halo 2: Reforged features things like the Mark V armor for Master Chief, the classic MA5B Assault Rifle and Magnum from Halo: CE, Halo 2's early E3 2003 Battle Rifle and Brute Shot, Halo 3 weapons like the Spiker and Mauler, cut vehicles including the Mongoose and Falcon, the Flood Juggernaut, Sentinel weapons, redesigned Flood and Covenant characters, destroyable Phantoms and Shadows, revamped boss encounters, cut content, new encounters, and much more. The mod is still heavily in development, and the creator is currently rebuilding the campaign from scratch after losing previous work due to a hard drive failure. Only a few levels are currently available, so consider this an early look at a project that is still being worked on. I'm definitely interested to see where Halo 2: Reforged goes from here.
