Behind the Concept: This is a project inspired by Improvisational Theater, The Exquisite Corpse, Cut-up Technique and by notion of having daily drawing or writing exercises. I have assembled a semi-random list of subject/object/theme into a spreadsheet to create titles, allowing some room for working backwards to edit verbiage to suit the content. I use a mix of public domain content, my own artwork and generative AI. I am open to debate over the validity of AI though I ultimately see it as a tool that is still in the hands of people who choose to work it into other forms. My work goes back to the late 80s/early 90s making ‘zines and films and collages with a lot of found media in the area of “fake ads”, social observation and satirical comedy.
