Chasing a rough misfire on an iconic BMW M70 V12 is rarely simple, but what I discovered inside this E32 750i engine took things to a whole new level. After ruling out throttle bodies, vacuum leaks, and a bizarre mix of mismatched fuel injectors, I pulled the valve covers to paint them. Instead, I found a completely detached rocker arm sitting loosely in the head, meaning an entire cylinder was dumping raw fuel with the intake valve completely frozen shut...... Will it ever run right again? In this episode, we tackle: • Tearing down the intake, covers and fueling system • Sandblast and paint the iconic M70 manifolds to a better than factory finish • Reseat the Valvetrain and inspect camshaft damage • Reassemble everything, oil spray bar maintenance, and first tests Drop a comment below with your theories on how this rocker arm managed to pop off without wiping out the valvetrain!
