How Long Would Thanos' Prison Sentence Be?

If you have watched the MCU then you already know there are villains, there are supervillains, and then there is Thanos, a giant purple raisin who looked at literally every problem in the universe and somehow decided the best solution was to uninstall half the population. So it did make me wonder, if Thor had controlled his anger issues for about five more seconds and the Avengers actually arrested Thanos, how long would this man actually be going to prison for?
