What is the benefit of reciting it? Traditionally, its benefits are understood mainly in terms of mantra-śakti, purification and spiritual progress: Mātṛkā śakti awakens — the sacred power associated with the Sanskrit letters is contemplated and worshipped. Mantra sādhana becomes deeper — because the hymn connects the Goddess with the very letters from which mantras are formed. Purification of speech and mind — regular recitation is traditionally regarded as helping refine one's vāṇī (speech), thoughts and devotional awareness. Concentration and inner discipline — the structured contemplation of the Mātṛkā helps focus the mind. Śrī Lalitā's grace — it is recited as an offering to the Divine Mother, with the goal of Her anugraha. Spiritual advancement — in Śrīvidyā practice, the deeper purpose is movement toward jñāna and liberation (mokṣa) rather than merely obtaining worldly benefits.-- Meaning of each stanza explained with details.
